Prof. Meng has been mainly engaged in prevention and control of water eutrophication, pollution control and resource utilization of reservoir sediment, watershed environment management, etc. He has completed several major research projects, including the one sponsored by National Science and Technology Major Project- Water pollution control and remediation. He is an expert obtaining the special allowance of the State Council.
